Portrait making tutorial, for color shifts... This can be adapted to shift any remappable color to any other remappable color!

 Ah, that's going to be helpful some time. I never though about making a layer so you can do it like that. I might give something like that a try sometime. Good job ^_^

It makes for flawless color switching... and you can do it for any remappable set to any remappable set. =3 -- >^..^< Meow! Exactly, hence why my tutorials are the Ridia Way. =3
-- >^..^< Meow!   -- >^..^< Meow!  There's a much simpler way, I believe, using only FSH editor, and the very step you used for color switching. I do the same thing myself all the time.
Copy/Paste the entire portrait into a second shape so you have two of the same thing. Go to the first one, use that color-swapping tool to change fur to marking colors. Then go to the second one, and erase out where the marking should be (also not worrying about overlapping into other colors or background) and then paste the second one on top of the first one. The shaded marking colors will be revealed through the erased-out holes in the other shape, and give you the exact same effect. I saw a tutorial on that simpler way a day or two after posting this. Just about kicked myself for overlooking such a simple methood. xD I do things the long way!
