Entangling Roots

I think the art work done is very good, Very detailed. shading is also well done. the only thing i could comment on that i would work on, are his eyes, which are not the same size, and the roots look more like plaster cracking, maybe make them thicker and add shading? the beasts hair, and fur seem so close in shade and value its hard tell where it starts and stops, if you were trying to make this a smooth transition i think you did very well. I would also like to see more detail in the back gound.
